The Amy Bird Band was created during Lockdown 2020, playing deep cuts of well known artists in the
Soul, Funk and Americana genres, including music from Chaka Khan to The Doobie Brothers, Tedeschi Trucks Band to Stevie Wonder and more!
Amy Bird grew up in the Isle of Wight, where she learnt her craft at Shanklin Theatre. She has toured Europe in ‘The Rocky Horror Show’ and starred as the title role in ‘Peter Pan’, alongside David Hasselhoff at the New Wimbledon Theatre. Now based in London and a regular with ‘swamp soul’ band The Coalminers, (featuring on their new EP With You In Mind - a Tribute to Allen Toussaint), Amy can regularly be seen at prestigious music venues like the 606 Club in Chelsea and Ronnie Scott’s, Soho with both The Coalminers and her own band setups. She is excited to play for one night only at the Cowes Fringe!
